Cycling pilgrimage group from Doncaster hosted at St. Mary’s, Syderstone
Fr. Clive and parishioners welcomed pilgrims from Doncaster who were cycling to The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. They stopped off at St Mary’s, Syderstone this afternoon. They celebrated Mass before enjoying coffee and the most delicious blueberry cake! This group is one of many that come through our benefice on the way to Walsingham every year.
Thank you to Fr. Clive as he steps down as Rural Dean
After Choral Evensong on a Sunday afternoon in early August, the Deanery Lay Chair, Canon Anne Prentis, made a presentation on behalf of the deanery to acknowledge Fr. Clive Wylie's period as Rural Dean. It was a wonderful occasion with representatives from all of Fr. Clive's parishes and from across the deanery attending. Thank you to North Creake for hosting this occasion.
