On Saturday 25 October, the Anglican Bishop of Tennessee and his wife visited Our Lady Saint Mary South Creake for a private tour, given by the Rector, the Revd Clive Wylie, OC. Bishop John Bauerschmidt and his wife Caroline were staying in Walsingham for a portion of his holiday in the United Kingdom. With Bishop Bauerschmidt was Bishop Peter Eagles, the former bishop of Sodor and Man, and his wife, Gail. Father Clive showed the visitors some of the highlights

Fr. Clive and parishioners welcomed pilgrims from Doncaster who were cycling to The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. They stopped off at St Mary’s, Syderstone this afternoon. They celebrated Mass before enjoying coffee and the most delicious blueberry cake! This group is one of many that come through our benefice on the way to Walsingham every year.

After Choral Evensong on a Sunday afternoon in early August,  the Deanery Lay Chair, Canon Anne Prentis, made a presentation on behalf of the deanery to acknowledge Fr. Clive Wylie's period as Rural Dean. It was a wonderful occasion with representatives from all of Fr. Clive's parishes and from across the deanery attending. Thank you to North Creake for hosting this occasion.
