Many parishioners appreciated reading through Luke's Gospel in Advent and Mark's Gospel in Lent and have asked for guidance in how best to approach their daily reading of the Bible. A session on Lectio Divina, the prayerful reading of Scripture, has been arranged for Tuesday, 30th September at 7pm in Syderstone Church. What is Lectio Divina? See this link for a page on how Lectio Divina differs from other forms of engaging with the Bible.

This form of prayer has a deep and rich tradition within Christianity. Meetings are at 4pm on the second Tuesday of the month. Coffee, cake, and fellowship follow.
