Debbie Osborn, one of our South Creake parishioners, has very generously offered to donate 20% from the purchases made by parishioners of Christmas cards from her online shop to church funds. Debbie has produced magnificent images that have been used on the cover of the liturgy bulletins for the major festivals of Christmas and Easter and her Christmas cards are well worth a look. A session on Lectio Divina, the prayerful reading of Scripture, has been arranged for Tuesday, 30th September at 7pm in Syderstone Church. What is Lectio Divina? See this link for a page on how Lectio Divina differs from other forms of engaging with the Bible.

Fr. Clive and parishioners welcomed pilgrims from Doncaster who were cycling to The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. They stopped off at St Mary’s, Syderstone this afternoon. They celebrated Mass before enjoying coffee and the most delicious blueberry cake! This group is one of many that come through our benefice on the way to Walsingham every year.
